What should we wear? ___________________________

As you will see in many of our proofs, or sample images throughout the website, white shirts are very popular.

White is a very good choice for you and your family to wear for a few reasons.

White is very classic and your portraits will not look dated in the future. If you wear trendy styles/patterns, you might look back on your portraits in a few years and be disappointed.

We will be out in the sun and playing in the sand. If you choose to wear a color, the color will reflect back on your skin. White helps your skin look the best!

It is easier to coordinate your entire family with white! You can wear denim, khaki, or black pants or skirts to coordinate with the white.

What ever your choice of clothing is, make sure you don't choose bright colors, bold prints or mismatched colors.

We want your photographs to become heirlooms.


How many proofs can we expect? ______________

We do not limit poses nor do we limit the amount of proofs we share with our clients.

We will proof every image we feel is an excellent representation of our work.

Because of the nature of photography, there may be times when a particular image you remember us creating is not shown. This could be due to a technical error or perhaps the image we captured of your or your family member was not flattering.


Where will have our photographs taken? ______

We will meet you at the location of your choice. If your condo or home is located on the beach, we will be more than happy to meet you there.

Sometimes there are locations that are heavily populated with either people or buildings. Sometimes this location just doesn't lend itself well to photographs. For clients that feel their location is like this, we recommend Henderson Beach State Park. This is a nice stretch of beach with the occasional wedding and other portrait sessions, but plenty of room for us to get great images.

What happens if it rains? ______________________


Fridays are usually not booked for this reason. It's our "rain date."

If the day your shoot is scheduled we get rained out, then we will reschedule for Friday. If you are not in town, or Friday doesn't work and we cannot reschedule, your deposit will be refunded.


How much retouching/editing is included? _______________

We will retouch facial blemishes and background "debris" (chairs, people, etc.) for no extra fee.

We will not retouch scars or birthmarks unless we are asked. Unless this requires an extensive amount of time, there is no fee.

Sunburns or suntan lines can be retouched for an extra $25 per image. (This is a one time charge per image not per print of said image.)

How long until I see my proofs? ________________

Even though we shoot our sessions digitally, there is still a lot of work involved before the images can be shown. It will take 2 - 3 weeks for your images to be ready and in some cases, sooner!
